What's Behind the Cameras?

Hey there, Falcons!

Incase you didn’t notice, we had some paparazzi going around campus earlier this week! We’d like to thank all our fellow students and the rest of our school community for not making Silver Oak seems like an exotic animal farm this past Monday and Tuesday, the film crew said they got a lot of really amazing shots!

Incase you were wondering when and how Silver Oak will become ~famous~, we interviewed one of the cameramen on their last day of filming! Here’s what we got:

What are you shooting for?

I’m making some videos for the American Montessori Society.

What company do you work for?

Fly on the Wall Productions

Where are you from?

The company is based in Brooklyn, NY.

I am originally from Venezuela.

Have you learned anything from this school or the people in it?

I’ve experienced a much more positive environment here than other high schools I’ve shot at.

On a scale of 1-10 how do you like this school and why?

11 (Sophia and I were SHOOK at this)

Would you send your children here?

Yeah, for sure.

Mark says he and the crew had a lot of fun filming here at SOHS! Thank you all for giving them the experience of Montessori learning! They are filming for multiple short videos which are supposedly supposed to be used for training purposes, so not all the footage they took will be used.

The films should be released in about a year or so, we’re excited to see how they turn out!
